Dear lecturers and students,

Obstacles are overcome together; We would like to see you with us to eliminate the difficulties, to create common and equal sharing areas for all our students and to run towards the future with the light of science.

In this context, Pursuant to the Regulation of the Higher Education Council published in the Official Gazette dated 20 June 2006 and numbered 26204, the Unhindered Life Unit was established on 1 March 2007 and 18 students with disabilities were identified for the first time. Then, a consultant lecturer and a volunteer student were determined in the faculty/school/institute who could take care of our disabled students closely.

The aim of our unit is

To determine the academic, administrative, physical, psychological, accommodation and social needs of students with disabilities, to determine what needs to be done to meet these needs, to plan, coordinate and evaluate the results of the studies.

Duties of Our Unit;

1. To meet the needs of students with disabilities enrolled in higher education programs during their education, to identify the obstacles they may encounter and the measures to be taken against them, to seek solutions and make the necessary arrangements.

2. To organize education and training programs and environments where university students do not have restrictions in academic, physical, psychological and social areas, to provide necessary equipment and to prepare special course materials
